Refund policy

14 days to decide

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving your order. If items from the same order arrive separately, the period starts when you receive the last item. Notify us within this period and send the goods back within 14 days of notifying us.

Return shipping

For returns because you changed your mind or the size or fit is not right, you pay the direct cost of return shipping. You arrange and pay for the return with your chosen carrier; we do not provide a free prepaid label for these returns. The cost depends on your location, parcel and carrier. We do not charge a restocking fee.

If free return shipping was promised when you placed your order, we will honour that promise for that order.

Defective, damaged or incorrect items

If your item is defective, arrives damaged or we sent the wrong item, contact us at matanostudios@gmail.com. Matano Studios covers the necessary return shipping costs for these cases. Please contact us for instructions before arranging shipping. Your statutory rights for faulty goods are not limited by the 14-day withdrawal period.

How to start a return

Email matanostudios@gmail.com with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase. We will provide the return address and shipping instructions. No reason or prior approval is required to exercise your right of withdrawal. Keep your proof of postage.

Condition of returned items

You may inspect and try on the clothing as you would in a shop. Please handle it carefully, pack it securely and include tags and original packaging where available. Missing original packaging alone does not prevent a return. You are only responsible for any reduction in the item's value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to check its nature, characteristics and fit, as permitted by law.

Refunds

We refund you using the original payment method within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or proof that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier. For withdrawal from the entire order, we also refund the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery option. Additional costs for a more expensive delivery option are not refunded.
